Itinerary
Day 1
PHUKET / HANOI
Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, we will be met and transferred to our hotel. Accommodation.
Day 2
HANOI (City Tour)
Breakfast. The visit includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (exterior only), Ho Chi Minh's house, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Tran Quoc and Quan Thanh pagodas and the Temple of Literature, a visit to Ngoc Son Pagoda in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake, and a walk through the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Day 3
HANOI / SAPA
Breakfast. We leave for Sapa on a 5-hour drive. Once we arrive, we will take you to Tram Ton Pass, 2,047 meters above sea level (the highest pass in Vietnam), which offers magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and the lush forests of Hoang Lien National Park. From there, you will walk for 30 minutes through the forest. Along the way, you will have many opportunities to see wildflowers. Walking alongside the stream, you will reach Love Waterfall. Lunch. Day 4
SAPA
Breakfast. We set out on the 4-hour hike. Our driver will make stops along the way so you can take photos as we descend into the Muong Hoa Valley. We will begin the hike on a fairly rocky path (you will need good walking shoes today), passing through the village of Lao Chai, a village of the Black H'mong ethnic group. We will then continue to the village of Ta Van, home to the Giay ethnic minority. The terraced fields are ideal for photography, and cold soft drinks, beer and water can be found along the uphill path to a road where your car will be waiting to take you back to Sapa to rest. We will then take a car from Sapa to visit Fansipan, the highest peak in the mountains of Indochina. Lunch. Accommodation.
Day 5
SAPA / HA LONG
Breakfast. We head to Sin Chai Village, near Sapa in northern Vietnam, at the foot of Mount Fansipan. Located in a tropical rainforest area protected by Hoang Lien National Park, the village is home to the Black H'mong people, whose traditional wooden houses are scattered across the valley. We then continue directly to Ha Long. Accommodation.
Day 6
HA LONG
Breakfast. We head to the port to board an overnight cruise on Ha Long Bay, one of the great natural wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On arrival, the ship's crew will welcome you and transfer you to the junk to check in and enjoy a cruise on Ha Long Bay with a delicious lunch of local seafood served on board. At the same time, you will be able to gaze at thousands of limestone islands and caves rising from the crystal-clear emerald waters. After lunch, you will take part in some activities on the boat to discover the beauty of Ha Long Bay, such as visiting a cave or enjoying a swim in the sea before returning to the junk to relax and have dinner. In the evening, you can join the locals for night fishing. Night on board.
Day 7
HA LONG / HANOI
Breakfast. A brunch-style breakfast will be served on the way back to the port of Ha Long City. Arrival in Ha Long, disembarkation and departure for Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi, with a stop at Con Son Temple – Nguyen Trai if time allows, or free time in the city before the transfer back to Hanoi. Accommodation.
Day 8
HANOI / - - -
Breakfast. Transfer to Hanoi International Airport to catch an international flight to your country of origin. End of our services.
