A first trip to South Korea can combine Seoul's urban life with Busan's coast and neighborhoods. Let’s Travel's Hanok program organizes that journey into eight days and seven nights, with two accommodation bases. To make the most of it, review the distribution of visits and the city where the trip ends.

The proposal includes four nights in Seoul and three in Busan. Using two hotels as bases simplifies part of the route, but arrival, transfer and departure days still count toward the advertised duration.

SEOUL: VISITS AND A FREE DAY

The first part of the itinerary is spent in Seoul. Scheduled places include Jongmyo Shrine, Jogyesa Temple, Changdeokgung Palace and urban areas such as Myeongdong and Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

Day four is listed as free for personal or optional activities. Use it to explore your interests further, but avoid adding tours that repeat organized visits. Read the details of days two and three first.

If you want to book a specific experience, check its location, schedule and cancellation conditions. It is also useful to ask the hotel how to return independently after a personal activity.

DAY FIVE CONNECTS WITH BUSAN

The program includes a visit associated with the demilitarized zone, followed by train travel to Busan. Ask the quote to confirm the visit's operation and conditions for your date, along with an alternative plan if restrictions apply.

Also check how luggage is handled during the day and the planned transfer to your Busan hotel. Do not schedule an independent activity with a fixed time that afternoon before knowing your expected arrival.

BUSAN: TEMPLES, MARKETS AND COASTAL SCENERY

Published visits include Haedong Yonggung Temple, Jagalchi and Gukje markets and Gamcheon Cultural Village. The following day combines other city locations, including Taejongdae, Haeundae and the area around Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

This part of the journey offers a different atmosphere from Seoul. If food or photography is your main interest, check the time planned for each stop and which meals are included. A market visit does not automatically include a tasting or a booked lunch.

SPANISH-LANGUAGE ASSISTANCE AND GROUP SIZE

The description distinguishes visits with a local Spanish-speaking guide from airport transfers with an English-speaking driver. It also lists five excursion days and transport differences by participant number: a bus or minibus for four or more passengers and urban trains for up to three.

These details matter if you need language assistance or have mobility preferences. Ask about your group's specific arrangements, walking sections and luggage handling before confirming.

DEPARTURE IS FROM BUSAN

Day eight includes a transfer to Gimhae Airport in Busan. If your international ticket departs from Seoul, the program says to ask about additional transport and a possible extra night.

Before buying flights, compare both return options and request the full trip total with the necessary connections. Also allow for additional meals, insurance and personal expenses.
