A trip to Egypt with a Nile cruise combines visits from Cairo with a journey through sites along the river valley. However, two eight-day packages can divide their nights differently and exclude visits you considered essential. Start your comparison with those details.

Let’s Travel's catalog lets you compare Egipto Faraónico with two 2-for-1 Cairo and cruise options. Extensions to Abu Simbel and the Red Sea serve different priorities.

HOW MANY NIGHTS YOU WILL SPEND ON BOARD

Egipto Faraónico includes three hotel nights in Cairo and four cruise nights. Its route connects Cairo with Luxor, continues toward Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan, and returns to Cairo before departure.

Option A of the 2-for-1 program also advertises three nights in Cairo and four on the cruise. Option B changes the balance to four nights in Cairo and three on the boat, sailing in the Aswan–Luxor direction.

The total duration is the same, but the time spent on each part of the trip changes. If more nights on the river matter to you, do not compare only the eight days in the title.

REVIEW LUXOR VISITS SEPARATELY

Egipto Faraónico includes Luxor's West Bank, with the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's temple and the Colossi of Memnon. The 2-for-1 option B, by contrast, lists this visit as optional.

Option A's inclusions mention Luxor and Karnak but do not explicitly list the West Bank. If those sites matter to you, ask the proposal to confirm whether they are included or quote the additional price. Do not apply one tour's conditions to another simply because both have four cruise nights.

Also ask about specific admission tickets. A general visit to a site does not imply access to every area or activities requiring an additional ticket.

FLIGHTS, MEALS AND LOCAL EXPENSES

These programs include domestic flights between Cairo and the cruise's starting and finishing points. Confirm schedules, baggage and coordination with visits: the order may change according to flights and the vessel's operation.

Full board on the cruise is described as excluding drinks. The Cairo hotel stay includes breakfast. Add other meals, drinks and the optional activities you actually want to your budget.

Request an updated breakdown of tips, taxes and other local payments. Published amounts may differ by program and category; a useful comparison uses the current conditions for the same date.

ABU SIMBEL OR THE RED SEA: TWO DIFFERENT EXTENSIONS

Egipto Faraónico y Abu Simbel extends the trip to nine days and eight nights, with one night in Abu Simbel. It may suit you if a broader archaeological experience is your priority.

Egipto Faraónico y Mar Rojo offers eleven days and ten nights, adding three nights in Hurghada or Sharm el Sheikh according to your chosen option. Consider it if you would prefer to finish with a relaxing stay.

To decide, send Let’s Travel a short list of must-see sites and ask for them to appear in the final proposal. Compare the total including international flights, boat category and confirmed services:
