Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Bangkok
Arrival at Bangkok International Airport, welcome with Spanish-speaking assistance and guide. Transfer to the hotel and overnight. Free evening with optional activities: dinner at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel or dinner on the Viva Alangka cruise.
Day 2
Bangkok
Breakfast. Visit to the Grand Palace of Bangkok, the official residence of the kings of Thailand since the 18th century, still in use for royal rituals. Continuation to Wat Pho, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, in the Phra Nakhon district. Return to the hotel. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.
Day 3
Bangkok
Breakfast. Free day for optional activities such as the famous Floating Market and the Mae Klong train, the most authentic image of Thailand, or to explore the city on your own. Meal included: breakfast.
Day 4
Bangkok / Ayutthaya / Sukhothai
Breakfast. Departure for Ayutthaya and visit to the ruins of its historical park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continuation to Sukhothai. Transfer to the hotel and overnight. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.
Day 5
Sukhothai / Lampang / Chiang Rai
Breakfast. Visit to Sukhothai Historical Park, the first capital of the Kingdom of Siam and the golden age of Thai civilization, with its most important temples. Stop at a Muay Thai school, the national sport, with a demonstration of basic techniques. Lunch. Continuation to Chiang Rai and visit to Wat Rong Suea Ten, or the Blue Temple. Transfer to the hotel. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.
Day 6
Chiang Rai / Chiang Mai
Breakfast. Visit to the White Temple, Wat Rong Khun. Continuation to Chiang Mai, the Rose of the North, with origins in the 13th-century Lanna Kingdom. Visit to Wat Doi Suthep, the Sacred Mountain Temple, one of the most beautiful in Thailand. Free evening. Meals included: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 7
Chiang Mai
Breakfast. Free day with optional activities: elephant camp with show, jungle ride, and a visit to the village of the long-neck (giraffe) women and an orchid farm (with lunch); bathing with elephants; Muay Thai fights; or a Thai massage in your room. Meal included: breakfast.
Day 8
Chiang Mai / Phuket
Breakfast. Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport to take a domestic flight to Phuket (not included). Arrival and the rest of the day free to enjoy the beach. Overnight. Meal included: breakfast.
Day 9
Phuket
Breakfast. Free day. Optional activity: speedboat excursion to the Phi Phi Islands, the most famous archipelago in the Andaman Sea. Overnight. Meal included: breakfast.
